Ednaswap was a band from Los Angeles, United States. They existed between 1993 and 1998. Frontwoman Anne Preven came up with the band's name, after she dreamt about a band of the same name that was so bad they were booed off-stage.

Although their output is relatively unheard of, Ednaswap songs have been worldwide hits when covered by other artists. Natalie Imbruglia's first single "Torn" was an Ednaswap cover, for example, as was Sinéad O'Connor's "The State I am In". The songwriting couple behind Ednaswap have also written for Madonna and produced songs for Sinéad O'Connor. Anne Preven, Scott Cutler and Scot Coogan went on to form the band Annetenna.

Ednaswap songs have appeared on the TV show Daria.
