The Innocence Mission is a four piece band based in Lancaster, PA. The band consists of Karen Peris (Vocals - Guitar), Don Peris (Guitars - Vocals), Mike Bitts (Bass), and Steve Brown (Drums). The band was formed when the members met during a Catholic school production of "Godspell". They became more well-known when one of their songs, the Mazzy Star-esque "Bright as Yellow", was used in the soundtrack for the movie, Empire Records. They prefer not to tour large venues opting to play small clubs.
