Sandra Caldarone, better known as Sandra Kim, is a Belgian singer who won the Eurovision Song Contest held in Bergen, Norway, on 3 May 1986.
She was born in Montegnée, near Liège, on 15 October 1972 and was therefore actually only 13 years old at the time of her win, despite claiming in the lyrics of her song J'aime la vie ("I love life") to be 15. However, at that point there was no set minimum age for performers in the contest.
Sandra has been singing since the age of seven, and taken courses in modern jazz, singing, English, Dutch, and French as well as theatre and elocution lessons.
