Bombay Dreams is a musical with music by A. R. Rahman, lyrics by Don Black. The London production opened in 2002 with a book by Meera Syal; a Broadway production, which opened in 2004, featured a book by Syal and Thomas Meehan. The musical was originally produced in London by Andrew Lloyd Webber. This musical is about a homeless man who wants to become famous and decides to get a part in a new show. He falls in love with a rich girl who wants to be a producer yet both know they cannot stay together. A new production produced by Atlanta's Theater of the Stars and the Independent Presenters Association will be touring North America starting in February 2006.
