Chameleon Twist was a platformer released for the Nintendo 64 in 1997. In the game you play as Davey, a chameleon who followed a rabbit down a magical hole, and found himself in a strange new land, where among other things, he suddenly took on a humanoid form.
The most innovative thing about Chameleon Twist was its Tongue Physics. Since Davey is a Chameleon you can use your tongue as a weapon; your tongue also doubles as an arm of sorts, allowing you to swing from platform to platform by simply sticking your tongue onto various poles placed conveniently around each level.
The game also features a four player battle mode, and was followed in 1999 with a sequel, Chameleon Twist 2.
