The Colony Wars trilogy is a video game series for the Playstation, published by Psygnosis. The three games in the series are Colony Wars (1997), Colony Wars: Vengance (1998), and Colony Wars: Red Sun 2000.

The style of gameplay is that of a 3D science fiction shooter in outer space, or occasionally within a planet's atmosphere. You take control of a spaceship fighter and must undertake missions such as protecting a larger battleship from other fighters, destroying an enemy's battleship, and the like. The games chronicle the events of various wars between the League of Free Worlds (of the colony planets) and the Earth Navy, from different viewpoints.
