Hospital Mission-Dr. Clickett's drivers are out so the player can drive the ambulance. The player must drive to the police station and save Mr. Super from the parrot who is bugging him and making him fall of the roof. Then the player must drive to the pizzeria to save a guy who is chocking. During the mission, Red Greenbase and Dorothy Funberg will be doing wheelies on their bikes, blocking the player.
Pizza Mission-Deliver Pizzas in this minigame. This is the only minigame in the game that differs by the player. Here is a chart:
Pepper delivers to the jail.
Mama Delivers to the Police Station.
Nick delivers to the Gas Station.
Laura delivers to the Hospital.
Papa delivers to the race track.
The pizza mission also can let the Brickster out if the helicopter is built.
Race Car Race-The player must race two laps around a giant, complex race-track (which most of takes place in a cave) against Studs Linkin and Rhonda Hogg. In the middle of the track, there is a giant skeleton who will try to kick the player off the bridge and make him or her drive around the loop again.
Jetski Race-The player must race two laps around the island against Snap Lockitt and Valerie Stubbins. The main obsticals include stalagmites, boats, buoys, and spinning pyramids.
Chase The Brickster Mission-Delivering a pizza to the Brickster as Pepper when the helicopter is built will trigger this mission. The Brickster will escape, take the helicopter, steal the power brick from the roof of the information center and fly away to mountain park. Pepper has to start by meeting Nick and Laura at Mountain Park. Then the Brickster shows up in the ambulance and goes up the hill. The player must chase the Brickster around, collecting whatever he drops. When he gets close to a building, he will repeatedly shoot it until it falls apart or until the player touches him. When the player collects all the helicopter pieces, the Brickster will go the cave and whistle. When the player meets him, he will drop another piece, hide in the cave, and hide the last four pieces. Then the player must find them by following the whistling noises to track them down. When the player finds them all, he or she must reassemble the helicopter. After that, the player must fly the helicopter and shoot pizzas at the Brickster to slow him down and shoot donuts at Nick and Laura to speed them up. If Nick or Laura run into a pizza they will be trapped. If the Brickster runs into a donut, he will either reverse or knock them into the air. The player must lead Nick or Laura to the Brickster so they catch him and end the mission. If the Brickster destroys all fifteen buildings (excluding the information center), the player will lose.
When a mission is a completed a brick will appear on the scorecube, depending on what character was used and what mission was completed. The score cube can be seen rotating on the room to the right of the main area in the Information Center. Clicking on the book on the shelf will show all score cubes. Clicking on the Lego sets on the bottom shelf will build Lego models from them. There are three brick colors. Red is best, blue is second, yellow is last, and gray means a mission wasn't played yet. There are five missions (excluding the secret one) and five playable characters recorded on the score cube.
In the credits, a Lego version of the famous "American Gothic" painting with Mama and Papa in it can be seen.
Dr. Clickitt's name is miss spelled as Dr. Clickett in the credits. Captain Click is listed at The Pirate Skeleton in the credits and Ed Mail is listed as E. Mail in the credits for Lego Island 1.
The sign next to the jail saying "PIZAZ" is miss spelled because Pepper can't spell well and only he would deliver to the Brickster. Pepper wouldn't be able to read that sign.
Certain names are somewhat changed in Lego Island 2. Ed Mail becomes E. Mail and Jack O. Trades becomes Jack O'Trades.
The Lego Island 2 characters Darren, Rich, Rob, and Steve are actually part of the game's production team.
