Micro Maniacs is a video game made by Codemasters for the PSX console (Playstation 1). The game can be played up to 8 players using a multitap or on time trial on a single controler. It takes up one block of a memory card and is Analog and Viabration compatible. It is rated G 8+.

Gameplay

Objective

The objective of this game is to get your miniture people around a track (weither it be inside the kitchen, toilet or some other hilarious track) and to unlock new tracks and racers by winning lots of races. In some races you are able to ride on bugs, minature skateboards or some other cool veichles.

Controls

You can use the Analog or the Digital control pad to move. Using the Digital you press X to move and steer by pressing left and right. Using analog you hold the stick forward to go and move the stick left and right to turn. R1 and Triangle jump, L1 and L2 activate attack modes you use by gaining powerups and R2 and Circle can make some funny noises or use special attacks (also gained by powerups). You use the square button to brake.

Characters

These are the characters you can use, not including the 4 unlockable characters.

V4

V4 is a man that got severly injured in a motorcycle accident, and a scientist stuck some motorbike parts inside him so he could stay alive. Then he shurnk him down so he could compete in races. His attacks are Plasma Punch and Energy Trail.

Maw Maw

Maw Maw is part of many animals, three are Pig, Jack Russel Terrier,and gorilla, so the scientist shurnk him down and put him in the races. His attacks are Tongue Grab and Fireball Fart.

Mesme

Mesme cannot talk due to some trajic thing that happened in her childhood. She is capable of special psychic powers. Her attacks are Nightmare Projection and Psychic Grab.

Waldo

Waldo is the rival of the scientist that shrinks the guys down, so in spite he used the ray on himself by accident and now races too. His attacks are Laser Cannon and Laser Mines.

Pyra

The scientists lab assistant that got severly burned in a freak accident, and now races. Her attacks are Fireball Attack and Flamethrower

Vortex

The scientists student of astrophsyics that loved black holes so much, that one day she got sucked into one and had to be saved by being shrunk by the Minimizer ray. Her attacks are White hole and Black hole.

Twister

This guy loves his yo-yo and using spinning motions. His attacks are Spinner and Tornado.

Beatbox

A guy who loved to DJ and got modified and shrunk to race. His attacks are Sonic Boom and Shatter Notes.
