Alizée Jacotey (born August 21, 1984 in Ajaccio, Corsica) is a French singer. Her stage name is Alizée, being the feminine form of alizé, which means trade wind. She is considered to be the protégée of Mylène "Farmer" Gautier, a well-established and successful Quebec-born French singer. Alizée's most popular single was Moi... Lolita, which enjoyed success throughout most of Europe and parts of east Asia. Indeed, Alizée's image is that of a seductive Lolita character. After the success of Moi... Lolita, the new image of a Lolita has changed from a child to a seventeen year old girl.

Alizée is currently taking a break from singing, but is rumoured to be returning with a new album on March 13, 2006 with the first single possibly being released in February, 2006.

Alizée married fellow French singer Jérémy Châtelain on November 6, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The couple had their first child, Anny-Lee, on April 28, 2005.
