Silverado is an American Western film, first released on July 10, 1985. It was directed by Lawrence Kasdan and written by Lawrence and Mark Kasdan. Four lawful outlaws return to Silverado to thwart a ruthless sheriff and a corrupt rancher. Kevin Kline plays the audacious Paden. Scott Glenn plays the fearless Emmett. Danny Glover plays the virtuous Malachi Johnson. Kevin Costner plays the zany Jake. Brian Dennehy plays the nefarious lawman. Jeff Goldblum plays a fallacious villain.
