DeVry University is a system of career colleges in the United States and Canada. DeVry University is fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association (NCA), with a majority of its engineering technology programs accredited through the TAC of ABET. Its main programs of study are business administration, computer engineering technology, electronics engineering technology, network and communcation management, and other technology related studies. In addition, they are also just beginning to form a biomedical department.
The private university operates on a trimester course schedule and, if taken full time, a person can graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in about three years or less (depending on the major). The school is a for-profit institution operated by the publicly-held corporation, DeVry Inc. and traded on the NYSE under the symbol DV.
