Das Pop is a Belgian pop music band, who became internationally known with their album I ♥ Das Pop. Their music is a mix of pop rock and electronica. They consist of a drummer/leadsinger (Bent Van Looy), a bass player (Niek Meul) and a guitar player (Reinhard). Live they are joined by a drummer, so Bent can play the keys and sing. Their second album The Human Thing involves less electronica and has a considerably more mature sound. Right now they are working on their third album, wich is being produced by David Dewaele from Soulwax. They have a considerable Belgian fanbase.
