Wikipedia-Article "European Studies"

European Studies is a field of study offered by many academic colleges and universities that focuses on the current development of the European integration process. It basically consists of a combination of several subjects, including History, Sociology, European Law, Macroeconomics, and Microeconomics. Some universities expand the subject to cover aspects that encompass Europe but not necessarily European integration, for example, European cinema.

It is taught, for example, at the Universiteit Maastricht in the Netherlands, at the University of the West of England and King George V College in the United Kingdom.
