Carlos Peña (born May 17, 1978 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) is a first baseman in Major League Baseball who currently plays for the Detroit Tigers. His career Major League batting average is .239 with 70 home runs from 451 games. He attended Haverhill High School, Haverhill, Massachusetts and then Northeastern University, Boston.

Pena is the first player to have played in the Major League's that has also played in Steve Buckley's annuel Old Time Baseball Game that is played at St. Peter's Field in Cambridge, Massachusetts every year in August.
