Antonio Ray Daniels (born 19 March 1975 in Columbus, Ohio) is a professional basketball player in the NBA. After playing college basketball at Bowling Green State University, he was selected by the then-Vancouver Grizzlies (now Memphis Grizzlies) with the fourth overall pick of the 1997 NBA Draft. Over his career he has played for the Grizzlies, the San Antonio Spurs, the Portland Trail Blazers, the Seattle Supersonics and the Washington Wizards. He's averaged 7.8 points and 3.3 assists per game over his career. He is also known as "Mel" Daniels.
